DraftMatrix: Fantasy Hockey Privacy Policy

The short version: DraftMatrix collects no personal data. None.

What the app stores, and where

Your draft data — picks, rosters, keepers, targets, imported rankings, league settings, and preferences — is stored on your device. If you are signed into iCloud, the same data is stored in your personal iCloud key-value storage so a draft can move between your devices. This data belongs to you, is protected by your Apple ID, and is never transmitted to Grout Technology LLC or anyone else.

AI features

Draft suggestions are generated entirely on your device using Apple Intelligence (Apple's on-device foundation models). Your roster and the player pool are processed locally and never leave your device.

Network requests

The app downloads publicly available fantasy hockey data: published expert ranking articles, current roster data, and average draft position, each from a public content API. These requests fetch public data and include no personal information or identifiers about you. Standard server logs on those third-party services (such as IP addresses inherent to any internet request) are governed by their respective policies.

What we don't do

No accounts, sign-ins, or profiles
No analytics, telemetry, or crash-reporting SDKs
No advertising and no tracking of any kind
No selling, sharing, or transmitting of your data — we never possess it

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
